Richard Jefferson is interested in furthering his journey as a referee.

While appearing on the latest episode of The Broadcast Boys, Jefferson manifested a future opportunity with WWE, noting that the next time he puts on any type of referee jersey, it will be for the sports entertainment giant.

“I’m gonna put this out here live on The Broadcast Boys. I want to referee at like, Raw or WrestleMania. That’s what I want, I wanna do it. The next time I do any sort of referee jersey, it’s gonna be at WrestleMania or Raw.”

Jefferson then put out a Tweet, seemingly calling his shot for a spot at WrestleMania 40.

Throughout his 16 year career in the NBA, Jefferson played for a number of teams, including for the championship winning Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016. Jefferson also spent time with the Golden State Warriors, the San Antonio Spurs, and the Brooklyn Nets.
