WrestleVotes on Fightful Select reports, “After speaking with sources about the John Cena Classic, @WrestleVotes Radio on @FightfulSelect has learned no date or venue seems to be nailed down. One source said that Netflix almost immediately expressed interest in hosting the event.”

Cena announced the Classic at WWE Backlash, saying it would be a tournament pitting main roster talent against NXT talent. The winner would be decided by a fan vote.
