Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for their upcoming film, Army of the Dead.
Written and directed by Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen, Man of Steel), the story is set in Las Vegas, walled off from the rest of the world, six years after a zombie outbreak. Dave Bautista plays Scott Ward, a mercenary tasked with leading a team to steal millions of dollars from a casino vault before the area is levelled by a nuclear blast.

Army of the Dead marks Zack Snyder's first foray back into the action-horror genre since his feature debut seventeen years ago with the James Gunn-penned remake of George A. Romero's, Dawn of the Dead. He has been describing this forthcoming project as a Dirty Dozen meets Ocean's Eleven genre mashup.
As for Bautista, the WWE Legend is poised for a big year, as he will also be appearing in Denis Villeneuve's feature adaptation of Dune, where he'll be playing the role of Glossu 'Beast' Rabban.
Scheduled to release on Netflix on May 21st, Army of the Dead also stars Ella Purnell, Ana de la Reguera, Garret Dillahunt, Omari Hardwick, and Tig Notaro.
