Another Change Made As AJ Styles vs. Kofi Kingston Is Now Set For WWE SmackDown

**UPDATE**

That didn't last long.

WWE has now announced that Kofi Kingston (with Big E & Xavier Woods in his corner) will meet AJ Styles (with Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson in his corner) on tonight's SmackDown. As you can see in the original article, WWE previously announced a six-man tag team bout pitting The New Day against The OC. This came after New Day vs. Drew McIntyre & Elias was announced for SmackDown over the weekend.

According to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, Vince McMahon called in the SmackDown creative team today to "totally rewrite" the show.

**ORIGINAL**

A six-man tag team show down set for SmackDown.

Fresh off of capturing the RAW Tag Team Championships, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson will be teaming up with WWE United States Champion AJ Styles on tonight's SmackDown Live to take on SmackDown Tag Team Champions Xavier Woods and Big E and the current WWE Champion, Kofi Kingston.

SmackDown Live will emanate from Memphis, Tennessee and WWE Hall Of Famer Jerry Lawler is slated to host 'The King's Court' with fellow Hall Of Famer Trish Stratus. Also slated for tonight's show is a singles match between Finn Balor and Dolph Ziggler.

While mentioning Trish Stratus, on last week's edition of SmackDown, Charlotte Flair stated that she will be in action at SummerSlam and will prove that she is the "Queen Of All Eras". It was first reported by Pro Wrestling Sheet and later confirmed by POST Wrestling that a match between Trish Stratus and Charlotte Flair is in the works for SummerSlam in Trish's home country of Canada.
