New GCW Tag Team Champions Crowned At GCW War Ready

The GCW Tag Team Titles have changed hands at War Ready.

Just under two weeks ago, Game Changer Wrestling announced that The Briscoes would challenge Second Gear Crew (Mance Warner & Matthew Justice) on October 23 at War Ready. The match came about after Mark and Jay made a surprise appearance at GCW Fight Club, stepping to the Second Gear Crew after they issued a challenge by saying no team could take the titles from them.

Six-Man Tag, Mixed Tag, X-Division Title Bout, More Announced For TNA Under Siege

Tonight's bout was violent and bloody right from the start. Tables were crashed through, chairs were smashed into faces, and all four competitors were busted open. The false finishes were aplenty, too, with numerous close calls that had the crowd convinced a winner had been decided.

After a pair of J-Drillers and an elbow drop from the top rope, Ring of Honor's Briscoe brothers captured the GCW Tag Team Titles from Second Gear Crew.

Commentary speculated about the state of the titles now that they're held by talents from a different promotion, but their victory almost surely means Mark and Jay will be back in GCW before long.
