United Empire adds gold.
At the June 20 New Japan Road event, United Empire members TJP & Francesco Akira captured the IWGP Junior Tag Team Championships by defeating Six or Nine (Master Wato & Ryusuke Taguchi).
The finish saw United Empire hit the Leaning Tower for the victory.
This marks the first reign with the IWGP Junior Tag Team Titles for TJP & Akira. Six or Nine won the titles at NJPW New Years Golden Series 2022. Their reign lasted 121 days. They made two successful title defenses during their reign.
