New Japan Announces CMLL Fantasticamania Roster For January Shows

Many of CMLL's stars will make their way to Japan in January for the annual Fantasticamania tour.

The shows, running from January 12-22, will feature twenty CMLL stars, ranging from established veterans to young talent making their debut Japan. They are:

Rudos coming to the tour will be Ultimo Guerrero, Negro Casas (who is known for his feud with Jushin Thunder Liger many years ago), Gran Guerrero, Barbaro Cavernario, Sanson, Cuatrero, Okumura, Puma and Disturbio.

Technics include Atlantis, Mistico, Volador Jr., Dragon Lee, Niebla Roja (who recently lost his mask at the anniversary show in September), Angel de Oro, Soberano Jr., Fuego, Star Jr. and Rush

The Korakuen Hall shows, which will be the only shows to include Kazuchika Okada, will be the ones most likely to air on New Japan World. This are set to take place on January 19, 21 and 22 respectively.

New Japan and CMLL have been running joint shows in January under the Fantasticamania banner since 2011. Last year's big matches included Dragon Lee vs. Barbaro Cavernario for the CMLL World Lightweight championship, a match between Ultimo Guerrero and Volador Jr. and Maximo Sexy (who is no longer with the promotion) facing Hechicero for the CMLL Heavyweight championship.
