New Match Additions, Special Guests Officially Announced For TAKAYAMANIA EMPIRE IV
New additions to the lineup.
The fourth installment of TAKAYMANIA EMPIRE, the benefit show for Yoshihiro Takayama, will be taking place on September 3rd at Korkauen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.
Takayama suffered a cervical spinal cord injury in 2017, which left him paralyzed from the neck down.
New match additions and special guests have been officially announced for TAKAYAMANIA EMPIRE 4. Among the special guests who will be appearing are Kenta Kobashi, Meiko Satomura, Sanshiro Takagi, and Kazuo Yamazaki.
Joining the match lineup are two bouts. There is going to be a tag match that’ll feature Chihiro Hashimoto and Yuu versus Hiroyo Matsumoto and Yurika Oka. A singles match was also made official between Shouta Kofuji and NJPW Young Lion Daiki Nagai.
It had already been determined that the main event would feature a tag match involving GHC Heavyweight Champion KENTA, AEW World Trios Champion Katsuyori Shibata, Naomichi Marufuji, and Minoru Suzuki. The pairs in that match will be decided by Yoshihiro Takayama on the night of the event.
TAKAYAMANIA EMPIRE will broadcast for free on ABEMA.
