Ishimori is set to defend his IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title against Desperado, Wato, and Takahashi in a four-way bout at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17.

Also announced for the card is NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Champions Aussie Open (Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher). Opponents were not announced. Plus, the semifinals in the NJPW World TV Title tournament will be held.

Karl Anderson defending the NEVER Openweight Championship against Hikuleo is still advertised for the card despite Anderson returning to WWE alongside Doc Gallows on Monday's WWE Raw.

From NJPW:

Also already announced for November 5, Karl Anderson will defend the NEVER Openweight Championship gold against Hikuleo. The Machine Gun will go wherever the bright lights will lead him, and that certainly rings true when it comes to November’s big Osaka event. Might it also be true of Wrestle Kingdom and a NEVER Championship defence on the grandest stage? Or will Hikuleo seize the moment and his first career championship?

Here is the current lineup for NJPW Battle Autumn.

NJPW Battle Autumn (11/5)

- IWGP US Championship: Will Ospreay (c) vs. Tetsuya Naito
- NEVER Openweight Championship: Karl Anderson (c) vs. Hikuleo
- Taiji Ishimori, Master Wato, El Desperado, and Hiromu Takahashi compete in a wild card tag match
- Aussie Open (Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher) vs. TBA
- NJPW World TV Title Tournament Semifinals
