New MLW World Tag Team Champions Crowned On 3/14 MLW Underground

The MLW World Tag Team Championship have changed hands.

On the March 14 episode of MLW Underground, the Samoan Swat Team (Juicy Finau & Lance Anoa'i) challenged Hustle & Power (Calvin Tankman & EJ Nduka) for the titles. The two teams have been feuding in recent weeks, as they have been mixed up in the rivalry between Jacob Fatu and MLW World Heavyweight Champion Alex Hammerstone. In the main event of the March 21 episode, all four powerhouses clashed in a hard-hitting battle.

At the end of the bout, Nduka tried to use some powder, but it was kicked out of his hand. Finau then floored Nduka with a Samoan Drop, and Anoa'i pinned him with a splash to win the match and the titles.

After the match, the new champions celebrated with Fatu and Anoa'i's father, Samu.

With the victory, the Samoan Swat Team officially ended Hustle & Power's 315-day title reign, which began at MLW SuperFight 2022. There, Nduka and Tankman won the titles by defeating 5150 (Danny Rivera & Slice Boogie).
