New number one contenders have been named.
Originally, October 4, 2022's episode of NXT was supposed to be host to a six-woman tag team match between Toxic Attraction going against Alba Fyre, Zoey Stark, and Nikkita Lyons. However, because of the dastardly NXT parking lot, Alba was able to kidnap Mandy Rose leaving the other four competitors in the match available to have a number one contenders match. Now, there are new number one contenders in Stark & Lyons.

It is not clear when the Tag Team Championship Match will take place. Stark & Lyons were supposed to take part in the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship tournament but unfortunately, they would not be medically cleared.
