Jax Dane pulled a fast one on Anthony Mayweather
Jax Dane and Anthony Mayfield used to be the best of friends. that is no more. Now, they are bitter rivals and Jax Dane has proven that there are no tactics off-limits when it comes to the National Wrestling Alliance National Heavyweight Championship.
Anthony Mayfield defended the championship against his former friend at the 2022 Crockett Cup event and initially, Anthony had won the match. However, Dane had an ace up his sleeve.
Anthony Mayfield had taken a lot of damage to his knee throughout the match and after he barely squeaked out the victory by way of submission, Dane snapped and attacked the knee of Anthony Mayfield with a steel turnbuckle before cashing in the championship opportunity he earned by being a part of the winning team in The 2021 Championship Series.
Once the match was restarted, all it took was one close line and it was all over. Jax Dane had won the championship.
