The design had been teased on social media several days ago, but there was no clear hint as to whether it was going to be a brand new belt or a design change to an already existing title. Kay has held the NWA Women's Championship since April when she defeated Santana Garrett at the 2019 Crockett Cup.

The reveal came on a day where it was also announced that the NWA's new studio show, NWA Power, will premiere on Tuesday, October 8 at 6:05 p.m. ET. The show is set to air via YouTube and Facebook and will be available on-demand. The show will also air Saturdays on Fite TV. The tapings are set to start on September 30 and continue on October 1 at the GPB Studios in Atlanta.
