Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch had a little help from their friend.
Breezango (Tyler Breeze & Fandango) never saw it coming as Pat McAfee helped Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch win the NXT Tag Team Titles on Wednesday. Breeze and Fandango looked to have things well in hand when Fandango was attacked by a mystery man. The change in momentum allowed Burch and Lorcan to hit an assisted implant DDT on Breeze for the win.
After the match, the mystery man revealed himself to be Pat McAfee, who had not been seen since his NXT TakeOver XXX match against Adam Cole. Bobby Fish and Roderick Strong were originally scheduled to take on Breezango, but they were mysteriously attacked, leading to Lorcan and Burch to take their place.
The marks the first NXT Tag Team Title reign for Lorcan & Burch.
