NJPW star Will Ospreay is the new Ring of Honor World Television Champion.
The British wrestler defeated now-former champion Bobby Fish in his ROH debut to capture the championship. The match took place Friday during Ring of Honor's tour of the UK, at their stop in Liverpool, England.
Will Ospreay signed a contract with Ring of Honor last week, and commented on the win, saying "Arrive. Take title. Leave. New ROH TV CHAMPION. Somebody stop me!" in a post on Instagram.
Ospreay ended Fish's 194 day reign with the championship, the longest since Jay Lethal held the title for well over a year. In all, Fish had the 7th longest reign in ROH TV title history.
