Rey and Dominik Mysterio defended their SmackDown Tag Team Titles at Money in the Bank against Jimmy and Jey Uso.

After experiencing some dissension and friction upon Jimmy's return from injury, Roman Reigns and his cousins have become a united force in recent weeks. On the most recent episode of SmackDown, they, along with Roman, defeated the Mysterios and Edge in a 6-Man Tag Team Match.

On the Money in the Bank kickoff show, The Usos once again defeated Rey and Dominik to become 7-time tag team champions in WWE. The match came to an end when Jimmy rolled up Rey and Jey provided an extra bit of leverage to make sure there was no kick out.

The Mysterio's, who are the first father-son tag champions in company history, see their historic reign end after only two months. They first won the belts at WrestleMania Backlash against The Dirty Dawgs.

Roman Reigns will defend his Universal Championship later in the night against Edge. He will look to ensure that his family retains all their gold and walk into the next SmackDown atop two separate divisions.
