Sheamus became the new WWE United States Champion at WrestleMania 37, defeating Riddle to reclaim the gold.

The hard-hitting affair came to an end when Riddle tried a springboard moonsault off the second rope, only to be caught in midair with the brogue kick. The kick caught Riddle flush in the mouth, busting him open.

This marks the third WWE US Title reign for Sheamus. It's the first time he's held the title since 2014. Riddle won the US Title at WWE Elimination Chamber, defeating Bobby Lashley and John Morrison in a triple threat match.
