With news that Joey Janela will be out of action for the foreseeable future with a PCL and MCL tear, WWN had no choice but to strip The Bad Boy of his WWN Title.

WWN Champion Joey Janela suffered a major knee injury and will be on the sidelines for several months. Regretfully, WWN officials have no choice but to strip Janela of the WWN Championship. We wish Joey a full and quick recovery. We will welcome him back whenever he is ready.
With WWN stripping Janela of his title, a new champion must be crowned. The second alert revealed the first details towards finding a new champion.
EVOLVE will return to The Orpheum in Ybor City, FL on October 28th. This show will feature a tournament to crown the new WWN Champion. We will have full details by next week.
Janela injured his knee at Game Changer Wrestling's Live Fast, Die Young event on Sept. 21 in a match against Psicosis on a top rope crossbody block to the floor.
