The WWE Network looks to chronicle one of the major rivalries that it helped broadcast to the world.
WWE Network News has revealed that the next episode of WWE Untold will feature the story of Sasha Banks vs. Bayley, specifically the story of their classic match at TakeOver Brooklyn in 2015. The special will air after NXT TakeOver XXX on Saturday, August 22, 2020. In the eyes of many fans, this is one of the pinnacle matches in the history of NXT TakeOver.
Currently, Sasha Banks and Bayley hold all of the Women’s Championships in WWE but their frenemy relationship reached another level at this event in 2015 where, for the first time ever, a women's match was treated as a co-main event of a pay-per-view quality show.
Past episodes of WWE Untold chronicle the first-ever Hell in a Cell match from 1997, the story of Dennis Rodman in WCW, and more.
It was also learned that one week after SummerSlam, Bayley and Sasha Banks will defend the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship at WWE Payback.
