Viewers of NXT are in for a treat next week.
It will be a new year when next week's episode of NXT TV airs on the WWE Network on January 2nd of 2019. The show will span from 8 PM EST to 10 PM EST and will feature a rematch from NXT TakeOver: WarGames II between Kassius Ohno and Fightful alum "The King Of Bros" Matt Riddle. The upcoming episode will also be dedicated to the NXT End Of The Year awards and unveiling the nominees for those awards.
The last time that WWE held an award special on the network, the winners were revealed at the following TakeOver and the next NXT TakeOver event is in Phoenix on January 26th which is the night before the Royal Rumble. Here's what WWE.com put out concerning the next episode of NXT:

The first set of NXT TV tapings for 2019 are taking place on Thursday, January 3rd at Full Sail University and Fightful will have live coverage of those tapings with the news that comes out of them as well.
