Next Year's Survivor Series Date and Location Announced

WWE's Survivor Series is still three days away, but The Houston Chronicle is already reporting that next year's Survivor Series will take place in Houston, TX on November 19th from the Toyota Center. Tickets go on sale December 9th at 10am. It becomes the third "Big Four" PPV to be held in the Lone Star State in less than two years. Wrestlemania 32 was held in Dallas back in April and San Antonio will host the Royal Rumble this coming January.

The Chronicle also reports that a WWE NXT Takeover event will be held on Saturday, November 18th, and RAW and SmackDown will also be held in the city, on November 20 and 21, respectively. Details on those events are expected soon. Travel packages to the event will go on sale December 6th at 11am.

Commenting on the announcement, WWE's Executive Vice President of Special Events John Saboor said this:

"There is amazing heritage and history in WWE's relationship with Houston and all of Texas. We are excited to work with key stakeholders in Houston to positively leverage that important heritage and build a strong Survivor Series weekend and celebration."

This year's Survivor Series is being billed as the 30th Survivor Series, but next year is technically the PPV's 30th Anniversary.
