NFL Hall of Fame linebacker and WCW wrestler Kevin Greene has passed away at the age of 58.
Greene played 228 games in the NFL, amassing 160 sacks and earning the nickname Sack Master. He was a five-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro. He was inducted in the NFL Hall of Fame in 2016.

For wrestling fans, Greene is best known for his appearances in WCW. He debuted as the tag team partner of Steve 'Mongo' McMichael in 1996, teaming with McMichael to battle Ric Flair and Arn Anderson at Great American Bash 96.
He returned to WCW in 1997 to team with Flair & Roddy Piper at Slamboree 97 to defeat The nWo (Kevin Nash, Scott Hall & Syxx). He also wrestled two matches against The Giant (The Big Show) in 1998, first on an episode of Nitro and then once again at Bash at the Beach 98.
After retiring from football following the 1999 season, he went on to become a linebackers coach for the Green Bay Packers and New York Jets.

Near the end of a career as one of the NFL?s most feared pass rushers, Greene entered the squared circle for WCW. Upon his arrival, Greene teamed with fellow NFL player Steve McMichael and would go on to share the ring with some of the biggest names in sports-entertainment. The Pro Football Hall of Famer teamed with Roddy Piper and Ric Flair against Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Syxx in a victory at Slamboree in May of 1997. In his last run with WCW, Greene teamed with Goldberg against nWo Black & White.
