Every year at NHL All-Star weekend, players compete in the hardest shot competition.
The current record is held by Zdeno Chara, who wired a pick 108.8 MPH in 2012.
At 2020 All-Star weekend, Chara wanted to try and break his record even though he wasn't named as an All-Star.
NHL Executive Patrick Burke appeared on The Sheet with Jeff Marek and explained how he wanted to make a big deal out of Chara's appearance, including bringing the lights down after the event was over, hitting The Undertaker's music, and having Chara enter.

Unfortunately, the idea never came to fruition.
Shea Weber won the 2020 hardest shot competition with a shot of 106.5 MPH at the event.
In other WWE-NHL crossover news, Cody Rhodes congratulated Alex Ovechkin on breaking the all-time NHL goals record.
