Nia Jax Names Dominik Mysterio (And 'Brothers' Tom & Nick Mysterio) As Her Favorite Going Into Royal Rumble

Nia Jax previews the 2024 WWE Royal Rumble.

Nia Jax is one of the top names in this year's Women's Royal Rumble, but she has also competed in the Men's Royal Rumble in the past. This year's WWE Royal Rumble features multiple men and women who stand a chance at winning the titular Battle Royals.

Details Behind Drew McIntyre's WWE Contract Talks

Speaking with ReviewSTL, Jax spoke about her own strategy in the match, noting that she is going to have to come up with a new plan to overcome the number of women who are probably going to gang up on her.

"I think that WWE has been doing such a great job of building all these amazing Superstars, larger than life characters, that it's anybody's game," she said. " I've fallen to the numbers game in these Rumbles. These women ganging up on me because they're so jealous of me, obviously. This time, I'm gonna come up with a different strategy."

Continuing on, Jax named the prison-hardened Dominik Mysterio as her favorite going into the men's Royal Rumble. She's also quite fond of Dominik Mysterio's imaginary brothers Tom and Nick Mysterio who were created by the wacky mind of R-Truth.

"For the men's Royal Rumble, I don't even know, I'm so curious, and I'm excited to see what's gonna happen. My favorite would most likely be Dominik Mysterio. Or maybe his brothers Tom and Nick, I don't know. Should be entertaining. Either way, the Rumble is one of the most anticipated premium live events of the year, so it'll be fun."

Mysterio could become the first second-generation men's Royal Rumble winner if he was to win the match in 2024. His father, Rey Mysterio, first won the match in 2006.
