Nic Nemeth Admits Wording On Advertising For His Match Against Jeff Hardy Was Confusing

Some fans who tuned into TNA iMPACT! on Thursday, July 31 were expecting Nic Nemeth to defend the TNA World Heavyweight Title against Jeff Hardy.
The interest was only increased when TNA invited LeBron James to be the title holder for the bout, which was advertised for July 31.
Fans who tuned in would eventually learn that the match would take place in two weeks, as it was taped before the show went live on AMC.
After the show, fans expressed their disappointment in not seeing Hardy vs. Nemeth, feeling that TNA falsely advertised or misled fans into thinking it was happening on the live broadcast.
Nemeth took responsibility for the confusion, writing, “The wording WAS confusing on the adverts, for a large part of the audience. We knew the schedule for weeks & as champ, I take responsibility for not conveying this clearer. Also; INCREDIBLE main event last night (& for weeks to come) + PHILLY AGAIN TONIGHT!”
