Nick Aldis reveals plans for the next Crockett Cup Tournament.

The Jim Crockett Sr. Memorial Tag Team Cup Tournament has been a staple of the NWA revival for several years. “The plan is for The Crockett Cup to be in Nashville this year,” revealed the two-time former NWA World’s Heavyweight champion.

Aldis continued, “One of the things I’ve enjoyed in my time with the NWA was the ability to breathe new life into things which have a tremendous amount of history and tradition attached to them, but haven’t always been celebrated in that respect,” Aldis said. “They were always things people talked about in the past tense.”

Nick Aldis is out of the NWA World Championship match on an upcoming pay-per-view for the first time since the brand relaunched. At Hard Times 2 on December 4, he will face Thom Latimer in singles competition.

Fightful will have full coverage of the event on December 4 and we will have more updates about the Crockett Cup as they are made official and made available.
