The first bout for NWA Hard Times is official as Nick Aldis will take on Flip Gordon in an inter-promotional matchup.
The match was confirmed on Tuesday's episode of NWA Powerrr. Aldis made a surprise appearance at ROH Saturday Night at Center Stage in Atlanta this past Saturday, attacking Gordon in the middle of a brawl between Villain Enterprises and La Faccion Ingobernable.
The following night at Honor Reigns Supreme in Concord, NC, Villain Enterprises confronted Aldis as he was doing commentary on the pre-show.
Aldis' NWA World Heavyweight Title was not listed as being on the line in the match.

ROH and NWA had a working relationship beginning in 2018, but the two promotions cue ties in July 2019. The two parties appear to be working together again, which began with Marty Scurll making a surprise appearance at the end of NWA Into The Fire, confronting Aldis following his victory over James Storm. Scurll recently signed a new deal with ROH that also gave him lead booking duties.
