Nick Gage Says He Took Time Off To Heal Injuries And Get His Mind Right

Nick Gage provides an update on his status.

Fans haven't seen Nick Gage since he lost to Minoru Suzuki at GCW War Ready on October 23. Gage has become the top star in GCW over the years thanks to his deathmatches, popularity and 2021 feuds with Jon Moxley and Matt Cardona.

Taking to Instagram, Gage addressed his MDK Gang as the calendar turned to 2022, wishing them a Happy New Year and telling them to find a passion and do it with hard work and dedication.

He then addressed any hater out there and said, "You can never hold me down. You know why? I'm a fighter. They wanted to hold me down because I took some time off to heal some injuries, to get my mind right, and get my soul and body right. Once I did that, you start seeing people fall off a little that you thought had your motherfuckin back. I know who has my back. That's the people, every time I come out, chanting MDK. That's why after the shows, I'm bloody and battered up, but I don't care. I stay after the shows and sign each and every autograph, meeting each and every person. I do it for you guys. Not some promoter. Not some promotion. Definitely not the money. I do it because I love this shit and I love my gang. I'm going to represent until a new motherfucker comes and takes my place representing the MDK gang."

Gage has not been announced for upcoming GCW events and it is unknown when he will return to the promotion.

GCW is set to hold its biggest event to date on January 23 when they head to the Hammerstein Ballroom for The Wrld on GCW.
