Nick Hogan Sues Bubba The Love Sponge Over Unreleased Hulk Hogan Documentary

Nick Hogan filed a lawsuit in federal court against Bubba The Love Sponge over Bubba’s unreleased “Video Killed The Radio Star: The Untold Story Of The Hulk Hogan Sex Tape Scandal” documentary.

TMZ reports that the lawsuit alleges the documentary infringes on the copyrights and trademarks of Hulk Hogan, Nick’s father.

Nick, filing on behalf of the Hogan estate, states the documentary includes unauthorized images from the sex tape between Hulk and Bubba’s ex-wife Heather Clem, and it’s alleged that some of the video was actually played in a trailer.

Nick also claims Bubba has been promoting the documentary using Hulk’s trademarks without permission.

Furthermore, Nick says releasing the documentary would violate a settlement agreement Bubba and Hulk entered into over the tape back in 2012. The details of the agreement are redacted in the suit. In 2012, Hogan sued Bubba and Heather for invasion of privacy. The lawsuit was settled, and Bubba issued an apology.

Nick is suing to stop the release of the documentary and for other unspecified damages.

Hulk passed away on July 24th.
