Nick Jackson shares how he had to use Kenny Omega’s knee pads on last week’s edition of AEW Dynamite.

On last week’s edition of AEW Dynamite, The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) would take an injured JetSpeed’s (Speedball Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight) place in a planned trios match, where the pair would team with Jack Perry.

While speaking on the latest episode of Being The Elite, Nick Jackson revealed that he actually had to use Kenny Omega’s kneepads on last week’s show, as he didn’t pack any of his own.

“We didn’t even plan on having a match tonight. So I literally didn’t pack knee pads. So… look who saved the day. Those are Kenny Omega’s knee pads that happened to be in our, what do you call it, our travel… So Kenny, if you’re not here, you’re still in Japan. Thank you so much for saving my knees.”

The Bucks would be returning to action after being ruled out for the remainder of 2025. You can read more about that here.
