Nick Khan Announces Italy Will Host WWE PLE In Early 2026
WWE is scheduled to present a PLE from Italy.
SportBusiness has a story up about WWE President Nick Khan from their chat with him at the IMG x RedBird Summit.
Khan revealed that Italy will be hosting a WWE Premium Live Event in ‘early’ 2026. Khan said the following:
“Almost half of our Premium Live Events take place outside of the United States now. We believe WWE is a global property, we believe the results on these shows, both in terms of attendance and viewership (locally and globally) have been significant. We have seen year-over-year increases for viewership on each one.”
Friday Night SmackDown emanated from Bologna, Italy, on the road to WrestleMania 41.
Elsewhere in the conversation, Khan stated that WWE events are “booked out through WrestleMania 2027.” That year’s WrestleMania is taking place in Saudi Arabia.
