Nick Khan Says WWE Is 'Open For Business' Regarding Sponsorships On Ring Mat, Apron, And More

WWE is open for business when it comes to sponsorships.

WWE has engaged in various sponsorship opportunities throughout its history and those partnerships have ramped up in 2023 at major Premium Live Events. Cinnamon Toast Crunch was a sponsor for the bout between Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania 39 while Mountain Dew Pitch Black was the sponsor for Bray Wyatt vs. LA Knight at WWE Royal Rumble.

Appearing on LightShed Live, WWE President Nick Khan addressed WWE potentially adding more sponsors to its portfolio.

"We are open for business. Ring mat, ring apron, the turnbuckles, everything that can be sold, we want to explore selling it. Obviously, it needs to be the right product, it can't be too distracting, but if it's the right relationship and the right company, we're ready to go," said Khan.

The question came up in relation to the upcoming WWE and UFC merger and how UFC has sold various sponsorships to put on the Octagon mat, cage, corner, and more.

Elsewhere during the interview, Khan discussed cost-cutting in WWE with the sale and how they want to leave the product untouched. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
