Nick Khan States That WWE Reviews Film & TV Opportunities For Wrestlers On Case-By-Case Basis

Nick Khan discusses wrestlers bringing more notoriety to WWE via outside projects.

There’s a feature piece that Emmanuel Morgan of The New York Times published, and it included quotes from Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and WWE President Nick Khan. Rhodes and Reigns are starring in the new Street Fight movie and are on a media tour.

Khan told the N.Y.T. that Reigns and Rhodes have earned the right to do outside projects with WWE’s support. Khan added that for other wrestlers, those opportunities will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Below is the article excerpt:

“If past is prologue, the bigger that these guys can become outside of the W.W.E., the bigger they become inside W.W.E. — that’s good for everybody,” Khan said. “Both (Roman Reigns & Cody Rhodes) have earned the right to do outside projects with W.W.E.’s buy-in and support.”

Khan said the company would review film and television opportunities with other wrestlers on a case-by-case basis.

The next Premium Live Event for WWE is Crown Jewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on November 7th. WWE is still advertising that the show will take place in Riyadh.

In October, King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh was targeted as conflict in the Middle East continues to arise. Per CNBC, 13 people were killed and more than 300 people were injured when a projectile hit terminals at the airport.
