Nick Wayne, Jun Kasai Join 2026 Best Of The Super Juniors Field, NJPW Unveils Tournament Blocks

The field is set.

As New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Sakura Genesis show was ongoing, the field for the 2026 Best of the Super Juniors tournament was rounded out.

The final two participants to be revealed were Jun Kasai and ROH World Television Champion Nick Wayne. With the full field set, the block announcements were made, and those are listed as follows:

• A Block: Master Wato, Ryusuke Taguchi, Kosei Fujita, Robbie X, Francesco Akira, DOUKI (IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion), Titán, Valiente Jr., Nick Wayne & Jun Kasai
• B Block: El Desperado, KUSHIDA, YOH, Robbie Eagles, Taiji Ishimori, Jakob Austin Young, SHO, Yoshinobu Kanemaru, Hyo & Daisuke Sasaki

The tournament begins on May 14th and will wrap on June 7th. If DOUKI does not win the tournament, the tourney winner will earn a shot at the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship.
