Nikki Bella Thought She Was Going To Have A PLE-Like Match Agaisnt Paige On SmackDown

Nikki Bella and Paige finally clashed on WWE SmackDown in a bout that Nikki won in three minutes.

The feud has been simmering since WWE SummerSlam when Nikki turned on Paige.

Speaking on the Nikki & Brie Show, Nikki Bella discussed the shortness of the match.

“Our numbers ended up being the most talked about from SmackDown. Even though we thought we were going to have this like PLE match and I came in prepped for that, I love storytelling, so let’s continue this. I’m all about the story so take it away, you put in that, and it’s great heat and get people talking. ‘When is this going to happen? What’s next?’

“My friends were texting like, ‘Why was that only two minutes?’ It’s her fault. Go tell Paige. It’s her fault. She came in like an angry woman.”

It is unknown if the feud will continue. Neither are advertised for Friday’s SmackDown.
