Nikki Bella Talking Roman Reigns: "His Presence Is Just Strong And He's An Amazing Man"

Nikki Bella talks Roman Reigns.

Today is the day that the women of WWE take center stage for the company's first-ever all-women's PPV 'Evolution'. One of the headlining matches of the show is the RAW Women's Championship match between Nikki Bella and Ronda Rousey and both competitors have stated during their respective promotional interviews for 'Evolution' that their match is set to close the show. One of the outlets that Nikki Bella spoke with recently was the CBS Sports 'In This Corner' podcast with Brian Campbell.

Among the many topics that the two discussed, they went over the heartbreaking announcement that Roman Reigns made this past Monday on RAW concerning his Leukemia returning after eleven years in remission. Like many wrestlers on the WWE roster, Nikki was affected by this news and after the outpour of love that Roman was showered with following his announcement, it soon became clear that Roman Reigns was indeed looked at as "The Big Dog" of the WWE roster. Nikki shared her thoughts about Roman Reigns as a man and the presence that he has in the company.

"You know, I get, like, the deepest chills when you bring that up," Bella said. "I think everyone is still in a lot of shock, but it's extremely sad, it's extremely unexpected. You don't think you'll hear those words from your living-day Superman but if anyone can fight through this, it's Joe. Joe is just so beyond brave to go out there, and to speak the way he did, I just ... to me, he is so inspiring and so motivating to never give up. I'm just going to keep him so much in my prayers and thoughts, as all of us should, because we all want our Big Dog back. The show is definitely going to feel so different without him. His presence is just strong, and he's just ... he's an amazing, very beautiful man, and he's beautiful inside and out, and I'm just praying so hard for him."

Immediately after WWE 'Evolution' ends, Fightful goes live for a post-PPV podcast featuring Sean Ross SappLaToya Ferguson and @TrinaDeLaSuerte.
