- NJPW announced that the entrants for this year's G1 Climax tournament will be announced on September 9 during night five of the New Japan Road tour. The G1 Climax will run from September 19 to October 18.

- A reminder that the full bracket for the ROH Pure Title Tournament will be revealed on “ROH Week By Week,” which drops today at 1 p.m. ET. There also will be a bracketology special premiering on YouTube on September 11 at noon ET. Dak Draper and Brian Johnson have been named alternates.
