NJPW announced its 49th Anniversary event will take place on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Nippon Budokan. NJPW had to cancel its Anniversary event in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event was scheduled to take place from Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo
