NJPW Announces Best Of The Super Juniors 28 And World Tag League 2021

For the second year in a row, NJPW Best of the Super Juniors and World Tag League will team together.

NJPW announced that Best of the Super Juniors 28 and World Tag League 2021 will begin on November 13 in Korakuen Hall and will conclude on December 15 in Ryogoku Sumo Hall.

The company had to delay Best of the Super Juniors last year due to COVID-19, opting to run the two tournaments at the same time. The format has returned this year.

Competitors for each tournament have yet to be announced.

The winner of Best of the Super Juniors will go on to face the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion while the winners of World Tag League will challenge the IWGP Tag Team Champions. Hiromu Takahashi won Best of the Super Juniors in 2020, defeating El Desperado in the finals. Guerrillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa) defeated FinJuice (David Finlay & Juice Robinson) to win World Tag League 2020.
