NJPW Announces Card For Return To Live Action On May 22

NJPW returns to action on May 22 after having to cancel events throughout the month due to the state of emergency in Japan and a handful of positive COVID-19 tests.

The event will take place at Nagoya’s Congress Center Event Hall. In the main event, Hiroshi Tanahashi will team with Ryusuke Taguchi to battle Shingo Takagi & BUSHI.

- YOSHI-HASHI vs. Yota Tsuji

- Master Wato & Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs. Gedo & Chase Owens

- Tomohiro Ishii & Hirooki Goto vs. Tetsuya Naito & SANADA

- Tomoaki Honma & Kota Ibushi vs. Great-O-Khan & Jeff Cobb

- Hiroshi Tanahashi & Ryusuke Taguchi vs. Shingo Takagi & BUSHI

NJPW notes, "Card subject to change. In line with COVID countermeasures, participating wrestlers selected after screening, and consultation with training and medical staff, including on any after effects arising from periods of isolation."

The event will not air on NJPW World. Live action returns to NJPW World on May 24 with the card announcement to be made shortly.
