NJPW Summer Struggle returns next week with a couple of tournament matches and a rare NJPW singles match for Gabriel Kidd.
NJPW announced the lineup for the August 6 Summer Struggle card, which includes two matches in the first-round of the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship Tournament. The winner of the tournament becomes the new champions. The titles became vacant as EVIL defected to Bullet Club and was no longer defending his belt alongside his two former stablemates BUSHI and Shingo Takagi. In addition, Gabriel Kidd will take on Yuji Nagata in singles action.
