NJPW Announces Golden Series Tour, IWGP World Heavyweight Title Bout To Headline Tour

NJPW has announced its next tour.

NJPW Golden Series will begin on January 20 and run through February 20. The event will be capped off by Kazuchika Okada defending the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Tetsuya Naito on February 20.

Plus, Minoru Suzuki defends the KOPW 2022 provisional trophy against Toru Yano and EVIL, Yujiro Takahashi, & SHO will defend the NEVER Six-Man Tag Team Titles against Hirooki Goto, YOSHI-HASHI, and YOH.

Title matches will also headline the February 19 event as Hiroshi Tanahashi defends the IWGP USA Championship against SANADA, Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI defend the IWGP Tag Team titles against EVIL & Yujiro Takahashi, and IWGP Junior Tag Team Championships will be on the line as Robbie Eagles & Tiger Mask will defend against El Phantasmo & Taiji Ishimori.

Other title matches on the tour will include EVIL defending the NEVER Openweight Championship against Tomohiro Ishii in a lumberjack match on February 13 and El Desperado defending the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship against Master Wato on February 11.
