NJPW Announces Trent Beretta Has Tested Positive For COVID-19; Card Changed For Capital Collision

Trent Beretta has tested positive for COVID-19.

The news was announced on May 13 by NJPW, just one day before their Capital Collision event in Washington, DC. As a result, the AEW star will be unable to compete and has been replaced by Rocky Romero, who will team with Kazuchika Okada instead.

The updated lineup for the show can be seen below.

Trent Beretta, who was scheduled to team with Kazuchika Okada against Jay White and Hikuleo at Capital Collision, has tested positive for COVID-19 and will not be able to compete on the card May 14.

We deeply apologise to fans who were looking forward to seeing Beretta wrestle, and appreciate your understanding.

As a result the following changes have been made to the evening’s card:
