NJPW Board Of Directors Agree To Transfer All STARDOM Shares To Bushiroad

A full transfer of shares.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling made the announcement that after a meeting on March 25th with the Board of Directors, it was decided that the Board would transfer all shares held in STARDOM Co., Ltd to Bushiroad, the parent company of both NJPW and STARDOM.

Bushiroad has since officially acquired those shares. The reasoning for the shift is to optimally allocate management resources and to streamline corporate functions.

It was in April 2024 that New Japan acquired all stakes in Bushiroad Fight. Per the agreement, Bushiroad Fight was named STARDOM Co., Ltd and became a fully-owned subsidiary of NJPW.

During an interview with Proresu-TODAY in March 2026, NJPW President Hiroshi Tanahashi stated that NJPW and STARDOM will continue working together, but felt both should be aiming to succeed independently.
