- Kota Ibushi and Kazuchika Okada square off to close out King of Pro Wrestling. You can watch the face-to-face confrontation in the video above.
- At the Wrestle Kingdom 14 press conference, the IWGP Heavyweight Title bout between Ibushi and Okada was made official for Jan. 4.
- Also official for Jan. 4 is Jushin "Thunder" Liger's first retirement bout. At King of Pro Wrestling, Minoru Suzuki got the better of Liger, but paid his respects after the bout.

- Fresh off his IWGP US Title victory over Juice Robinson, Lance Archer took to social media to comment.
