- NJPW has released the match order for the G1 Climax A Block Finals on October 16 as well as what needs to happen for every wrestler still not eliminated to advance to the tournament finals:
* Yota Tsuji vs. Gabriel Kidd
* A Block: Jeff Cobb vs. Yujiro Takahashi
* A Block: Shingo Takagi vs. Minoru Suzuki
* A Block: Kazuchika Okada vs. Will Ospreay
* A Block: Kota Ibushi vs. Taichi
* A Block: Tomohiro Ishii vs. Jay White
What needs to happen for each wrestler to advance:
* Jay White: A win over Ishii
* Kota Ibushi: A win over Taichi and a White loss
* Kazuchika Okada: A win over Ospreay and a White & Ibushi loss
* Will Ospreay: A win over Okada and a White & Ibushi loss to force a three-way tie. Ospreay cannot win the A Block outright.
- Sabu has been announced for GCW?s The Last Resort event on October 17 as he will take on Matthew Justice.
