NJPW Hires A New President

A new head honcho in NJPW.

New Japan Pro Wrestling has hired a new President according to an article published by Tokyo Sports. Twitter user @EvanDeadlySinsW translated the article which read that the incoming President's name is Harold Meij who is 54-years old and is the first President of New Japan Pro Wrestling who is not Japanese.

The former President Katsuhiko Harada stepped into the position as President of the company after the President before him resigned in 2016

As noted in the tweet above Harold Meij relinquished his role as CEO of 'TOMY' which is a Japanese toy company. The Tokyo Sports article also noted that Meij took 'TOMY' from their biggest loss in 2014 to the most profitable year in the company's history in 2017. Meij is expected to begin his obligations next month.
