NJPW To Hold Wrestling Event At Airport

A wrestling event at an airport.
New Japan Pro-Wrestling is in G1 Climax season, and the tournament action continued on July 19th at Hokkaido Prefectural Sports Center.
Before the action began, NJPW President Hiroshi Tanahashi and Yusuke Kimura of the company Hokkaido Airports took to the ring together.
The announcement was made that on September 18th, New Japan is going to present a wrestling event in the middle of New Chitose Airport in Hokkaidō.
2026 marks 100 years since the first airplane landing in the city of Chitose. Hokkaido Airports is planning a series of 100th anniversary events that are based on ideas that were submitted by employees, and a wrestling event at the airport was one of the ideas.
