Noam Dar Retains NXT Heritage Cup Title At NXT No Mercy 2023 Thanks To Gallus Attacking Butch

Gallus boys help Noam Dar stay on top.

It literally took seven people, but Noam Dar retained the NXT Heritage Cup Championship over Butch at NXT No Mercy. Oro Mensah delivered a shot to Butch ahead of the first fall allowing Dar to be the one to pick up that all-important decision eventually. Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend were also very active during the match and quick to distract the referee whenever it appeared that Butch was ready to put Noam away. Credit where it is due, the champion was able to survive The Bitter End.

However, when Butch was ready to attempt to close out the match again, Gallus' Wolfgang and Mark Coffey arrived, taking out Tyler Bate on the outside, with Joe Coffey taking out Butch with a Spinning Lariat, allowing Dar to retain his championship and celebrate with the other members of Meta-Four.

Coffey was the last person Butch defeated in order to solidify his spot in the championship match tonight, and it appears Gallus holds a grudge.
