Noam Dar Wins NXT Heritage Cup Championship At NXT Heatwave, Next Title Defense Set For NXT No Mercy

Noam Dar gets his baby back, and now, he doesn't have to defend the title for five weeks as a tournament has been declared to determine the next challenger for the NXT Heritage Cup Championship.

At NXT Heatwave 2023, Noam Dar defeated Nathan Frazer to become the Undisputed NXT Heritage Cup Champion. He was able to score his first ball when Dabba-Kato came to ringside and took out Tyler Bate, Frazer's cornerman for the evening.

Dar's final fall came down to the wire of the sixth and final round, but he was able to pin Frazer and officially lay claim to the trophy that he never officially lost of his own accord.

Later in the evening, the NXT Heritage Cup Committee announced how the next challenger would be determined as decreed.

The NXT Global Heritage Invitational will be an 8-man tournament on August 29. The tournament winner will go on to challenge Dar for the prestigious cup at NXT No Mercy on Saturday, September 30. The event will take place at Mechanics Bank Arena in Bakersfield, California. Learn more here.
